Nyamekye assures fans of good Dancehall tunes
Budding female dancehall act, Nyamekye has assured her fans that she has thoroughly reorganized her musical career to establish a strong dancehall brand after releasing her debut single, ‘Simple girl’ featuring DXD.
The released single is currently receiving massive airplay across the country.
According to her, she saw the need to restructure her brand to enable her accommodate the teaming fans from other continents, explaining that her total re-hauling will be all diverse, that’s from her lyrics, production, branding, performance and management.
She said, “My music has surprisingly travelled abroad and I was shocked when fans from Europe started contacting me on social media networks.”
Opining that her restructuring will affect her music positively with the several changes to be made; “It is essential that as a new artiste, I know that my kind of music has the possibility of crossing boarders especially with the existence of social media, therefore, the need to be prepared for the exposure and implications it comes with.”
Meanwhile, report has it that the budding act, Nyamekye is closely being monitored by newly established afro-based record label, Frontline Entertainment; owned by business guru, Buju, to help present Ghanaian artistes to the international fronts.
Nyamekye is a female dancehall musician from Ghana, who started as a dancer and later progressed into music, where she recorded several underground songs for almost 2 years until recently when she release her first song, ‘simple girl’ which featured DXD.
